I just thought that the long beside the shrimp was crab (the result was the fish in the set). When I found out, the first bite had gone down and it was too late.   Not friendly to foreigners! Be careful ! They will miss the carb which should be the meal's point.

Originally, I tend to like Tendon Tenya .. The taste is okay at an affordable price. Uncle, I decided to take orders alone, but I went back and forth, but there weren't so many people and it was not very uncomfortable. No card counting.

They have a great vegan option of vegetable "yasai - [ya-sigh]" tempura/tendon if you're not afraid to ask for no sauce "sōsu nashi - [saw-sue na-she]" as it contains fish.The batter does not use eggs or milk.The tofu and spinach are vegan without the bonito.Also make sure to ask for soy sauce as the table sauce is just the topping sauce which contains fish.This is a very hearty meal. Good for the end of a long day of walking.

Nice restaurant. Staff was nice and promptly offered an English menu. We ordered and food came quickly. Not the best meal I had in Japan, but pretty good and very cheap! I was impressed by the quality given the price.

Yoyogi Hachiman, convenient Tenya in Yoyogi Koen Station

Not friendly to foreigners. Me and my bf saw this cute restaurant that had a takeout window. We decided what we wanted by the convenient fake plastic food and had lined up behind a lady. Once the lady had ordered we went to the takeout window while the server closed it slighty. We thought she was busy as it was lunch time but after 5 to 10 minutes she still did not come to the window. At first we thought maybe we had not done something correctly but the minute we moved away and a couple of Japanese locals came to the window, she immediately came to serve them. Very frustrating experience and I hope no one has this same experience again.
